To be judged by those around you sometimes can be so painful. Especially when you yourself know the truth and yet you many times can be judge on untruths. Who are we to judge each other so quickly? Sometimes without even speaking to the person about what we are judging them on.
Very hurtful. To be judged without any direct words to you. Just whispers around every corner. Then, to find out that those who are doing the judging are waiting to judge you very publicly. All without a word to you about the situation. Oh, wait. I'm sorry, the words that were spoken to us about the situation were what? That's right -all lies. Tell us one thing to our face while lying and scheming the entire time. Sad. Pathetic. Painful. Yet reality.
Well, I once again am picking up my bible and going straight to scripture. God is my judge and to him I am accountable.

To Be Judged

1. Thankful 2. Blessings
Two things that I need to commit to thinking about daily. Focusing on the positive things in my life. Finding at least one positive thing to be thankful for and one blessing within in simple day. How hard can it be? Really. Just how hard? Seems as though it must be really difficult. Each day more and more it seems as though everyone focuses on the not so wonderful happenings in life.
Think about it. When your children complain about the way a particular thing is that you have provided for them in life, isn't it disappointing to you? Doesn't it make your heart ache to think your children simply do not see all of the wonderful things you do for them on an ongoing basis for them day after day? That so many other children in this world never have or never will experience?
So, I stopped to think a couple of days ago, what must God think when I complain and fail to be thankful for the rain he gave to us today? That the sun came up and shined so brightly upon us? That all of my family woke up and returned safely home today.
Well, today I really felt the urge to start a journal. A journal to list 1. one thing per day I am thankful for and 2. list a blessing per day. I am really not a morning person but I thought if I leave the journal by my bed and do this first thing in every morning....what a way to start off a positive day.

A Long Week
Last week was one of the longest weeks of my life. Glad that it is over, every appointment met and accomplishments made!
Eating, well I did good until Friday night when we went out to eat at Chili's. But all in all it was a good week for eating, in spite of all of the things the week held for my family. I am cooking Charro Bean Soup right now. Planning to eat on it this week and freeze a few bowls. I could a bag of Chickpeas on sale. I have only eaten them out of the can, so I think I will try to find a recipe.
Went to the doctor for my back. Looks as though I have strained some muscles. Not really sure how I managed to do that unless it was working in the flower bed. The doctor recommended seeing my chiropractor and having several massages. I thought she was so smart to say I needed several massages!!!lol Not complaining about that one:)
Flower beds, well the flower bed we made in the front of the house leading up to the door looks like it will need to be built up more. Every time it rains the thing floods and retains water. I think maybe that is why many of my plants have not done well. Although the temperature has not helped at all. The 100+ degree weather has done some of its own damage!
That is about it for now. Have a great week...

Happenings around here
So, much has been happening around our little house. We started putting down the new flooring only to have the toilet flood the house....well the water from the tank of the toilet, thank goodness! So, after 11 days of the industrial fans and the huge dehumidifier in our house -we are finally all dry again. Carpet has been pulled up out of Katelyn's room, Hunter's room, our room and bathroom. The flooring people will be here to do two of the rooms and my bathroom on Wednesday. Kenny is completing the rest of the flooring we had already bought and planned to install his self. After Wednesday we will have not one stitch of carpeting in our home!!! YAY:)
On another note, we will be having two very, very important visits next week. I am hoping to start a new "private" blog where I can share somethings that I have mentioned here a couple of times and stated that I could not openly share it out here in blogland.....well, it is time to share via a blog set to private. When I have this all set up I will let you know -then you can email me a request to be a reader of the blog! Like I need to add another something to my list of things to do but I really do feel it will be a good thing for me....
Food and eating. Well, this department of my life has absolutely been sucking. No other way to put it. I have given myself the deadline of this Monday to start eating better. I have to do something and do it quick before my butt grows out of control!!!!!!!
My laundry is all caught up and I am cleaning the house like a freakin' mad woman! Just don't think it will ever be enough -always feel like I should be doing more.
I need to put some more thought into my eating plans come Monday. Gotta get busy now -have a good weekend!

Happenings around our home
The summer is just puttering along here at our home. Last week it rained for what seemed like every single day. As a matter fact, I think it did!
Brittany is busy getting her after high school graduation life together. She seems to be having fun and enjoying herself. I miss her....
Katelyn has been hanging out with her boyfriend Trey a lot. Both at our house and his house -as Katelyn is not old enough to date yet. She will be a Sophomore when school starts back in August. Seems so strange to see them all growing up so fast and becoming their own individual person.
Hunter went to the Arena football and watched the Battlewings play last night. We went shopping on Friday and bought about half of his school supplies. At least I have a start on that! He will be in the 5th grade when school starts back this year. Last year the school system moved our 5th grade from the Elementary to the Middle School. I don'[t really think that was a good idea, but we will accept it and see how it goes.
Our great niece....well please keep her in your prayers.

Words
Or,
You can make someone feel so totally horrible.
Words.
Can put a smile on someone's face.
Or,
Can put a spear straight through their heart.
Words.
Choose them wisely.
Or,
You may be at a loss of them one day.

A mothers love.
Why does it sometimes hurt so much when it is the most wonderful love? This I am sure I will never know the answer to, but I will keep clinging to God and praying for the light to shine in as brightly as possible.

The Truth.
Why is it some people feel the need to try and decide what the truth is about something that does not even pertain to them? When they are not really living in the situation but looking in from afar and judging? Then, they say they are not doing this -when in fact it is what they are doing the entire time.....

Rambling.
Sorry for the rambling here tonight and I am sure it makes absolutely no sense to you. However, it does to me -thanks for listening....
